Facebook - Where's the Beef

Host Sean McCoy welcomes Clay Conry, Cattle Rancher, Pastor, Dad, South Dakotan and host of the Working Cows Podcast to the Table.  So much is said around beef, how it’s raised, harvested and what’s in it that we decided to get it straight from the horse’s…we mean cow’s mouth!

Reflection #2 with Doug Robinson

Love in action is listening to understand, not to react.

Facebook - Reflection # 2 with Doug Robinson

Host Sean McCoy invites his friend and Pastor Doug Robinson to reflect on the conversations with Hunter Maats, Jim Burgoon, Chris Cappello, Hayden Bruce and Alex Stein.

Given the special episode last week the reflection episode is a little late being released.  Two episodes, Eli’s and Mark’s (Part 1), have been dropped but won’t be covered in this episode.  From now on to offset the abundance of episodes our reflection episodes will be dropped on Thursday’s.

We are very anxious to hear YOUR feedback at our first jump into this and want to hear the good and bad so we can keep doing the right things correctly and correct the things we are not.

Let Them Eat Cake Part 1 with Mark Fiorello

Love in action is listening to understand, not to react.

Facebook - Let Them Eat Cake (1)

Mark Fiorello, step-brother of host Sean McCoy, accepts the invitation to Come to the Table and talk about his sexuality.  Mark is married to his husband John and was one of the first people our host wanted to reach out to and have a discussion with around a topic that is volatile, divisive and stirs passion in people regardless of their spiritual beliefs.

In the episode host Sean McCoy refers to an incident that occurred in Ohio when a transgender teen committed suicide over the struggle of both acceptance and understanding around their situation.  In it a name was not recalled but it’s on his heart to acknowledge the name and story.  We recognize the name Leelah Acorn in the same spirit of the article about the story linked here.

Let’s Get Real with Eli Sirota

Love in action is listening to understand, not to react.

Let's Get Real with Eli Sirota - Facebook Picture

A Special Bonus Episode being dropped this week!

Friend and fellow Podcaster, Eli Sirota, comes to the table to talk about his personal struggle with an eating disorder, anorexia. February 26th to March 4th is National Eating Disorder Awareness week and he felt a special calling to offer his story to anyone who would listen. He also wanted it to go out to the world during the same week. So, we invited him to the table and are dropping a special episode to join him in the fight. Please listen and share this conversation with the hope that it will reach someone who is in need or could be the hands for those that need help. God Bless those who are and have suffered along with the family, friends and professionals that battle it everyday.

If you or someone you know needs to reach out to an organization around Eating Disorders please click here to talk to The National Eating Disorder Association or you can call them 1-800-931-2237.  There are numerous organizations and associations that can help as well.  We highly encourage anyone in and around this issue to take that courageous first step to get help.  You are loved!

Eli’s podcast is called The Not So Crazy Podcast of Blizzard the Wizard and Eli.  It’s a great podcast for those of us that love comic books!

People Are Strange When with Alex Stein

Love in action is listening to understand, not to react.

People Are Strange When - Facebook Picture

Friend and fellow Podcaster Alex Stein, host of the Tell Me Who You Are Podcast, accepts Sean McCoy’s invitation to Come to the Table to talk about interacting with people.  It is one of the most basic aspects of life but dealing with people can be one of the most difficult things we encounter…especially with those who are different.  However, with patience, kindness and a will to get past our insecurities we most often find out we have more in common with people than things we do not.

We are very anxious to hear YOUR feedback at our first jump into this and want to hear the good and bad so we can keep doing the right things correctly and correct the things we are not.
